Reviews
Jennifer Webb has done every English teacher a huge service by pointing out that the kind of writing teenagers dedicate hours to in school is 'contrived and far removed from the way people write in the real world.' Teach Like a Writer addresses this misalignment through the views and experience of real writers. Any English teacher serious about improving their craft will find both inspiration and practical ideas in this long overdue consideration of how to teach writing in secondary schools.' -- Joe Nutt, author, Teaching English Foe The Real World
